Business Policies

Any agreement for the purchase of goods and/or services from Western Iowa Networks and its subsidiaries, ("WIN"), shall be governed by and is made subject to these Business Policies and the Returns Policies stated below (collectively, the "Policies"). Western Iowa Networks may, at its sole option, revise the Policies from time to time without notice. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Photos may not represent actual product. Typographical, product description, pricing and other errors are subject to correction, even after orders and/or payment are accepted. Manufacturer warranty, if any, applies; WESTERN IOWA NETWORKS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WIN does not guarantee product compatibility. Not all products are eligible for return, and not all products that are eligible for return are to be returned to WIN. Carefully review all return policies (below) before making your purchase. Shipping and/or service charges are not refundable.

Governing Law

Any purchase of goods from Western Iowa Networks shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Those who choose to access this site from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable. Except for equitable relief sought by Western Iowa Networks, which may be sought in any court of competent jurisdiction, user consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts located in Carroll County, Iowa.

Limitation of Remedy

IN NO EVENT SHALL WESTERN IOWA NETWORKS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE OR THE FAILURE OF SUCH PRODUCT OR SERVICE TO PERFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY PURSUANT TO WHICH SUCH DAMAGES MAY BE SOUGHT. Western Iowa Networks is not liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for a third party.

While WIN makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of this data, this web site could include typographical errors and/or technical inaccuracies. WIN reserves the right to make improvements and/or changes to such data and/or this web site at any time. These Business and Returns Policies last revised February 28, 2002.

General Returns - Applicable to all returns

Shipping and service charges are not refundable.
No returns or refunds for services will be accepted without proper authorization, receipt or bill, and direct contact with Western Iowa Networks retail offices or customer service.

If an RMA number is issued by the manufacturer of a product sold by Western Iowa Networks, the customer is to ship the product/s directly to the manufacturer for said return or replacement. RMA numbers are generally not issued by Western Iowa Networks but if/when they are issued, they cannot be extended or re-issued.

Where a specific return period is applicable (see below), no returns will be accepted beyond that period. Return authorizations will not be granted after the stated return period has run.

Customer is responsible for shipping charges and risk of loss on all return shipments. Western Iowa Networks highly recommends using a reputable shipping carrier capable of providing proof of delivery, as well as properly packing and fully insuring your return shipment.
Please note below any and all additional returns conditions applicable to your return or refund.

Returns - applicable to hardware products

Unopened product that is in its original factory-sealed container may be returned to Western Iowa Networks within 30 days from invoice date for a refund or exchange so long as it is accompanied by valid proof of purchase.

Opened product that is in its original packaging and in new and re-saleable condition may be returned to Western Iowa Networks within 30 days of invoice date, although such returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

Any used, missing or damaged products, components or accompanying items will result in rejection of the return or an additional restocking fee, at Western Iowa Network's sole option. Product that is DOA (dead on arrival) or defective may be returned to Western Iowa Networks for refund or exchange within 30 days of invoice date with no restocking fee if accompanied by the original receipt.

Returns - applicable to manufacturer specific hardware

Additional returns conditions may apply to various brands in the future but we have not identified any products that do not pertain to the standard policy above.
